I’ve lived with it for a while now but thought id try to do something about it!

I had a trawl through the online golf website and eventually came across the Izzo Swing Stick. At only £5 I thought it was worth a punt… and I was right! The adjustable strap when attached to your arm or chest really does help keep the swing along the correct path and I recon with some practice I will be back as I was in no time!

Well worth £5 if your looking for an inexpensive solution to your swing demons!

The thicker and fatter grip eliminates all wrist movement and twitching, the fatter grip also allows the proper motion in the arms and shoulders. All in all the putting swing therefore will be squarer at impact and more controlled, resulting in what should be a purer and more consistent putting technique.

The oversized grip fits over any putter grip so it is not a permanent attachment.

The grip was used by KJ Choi as he won the AT&T National and the CCC so the grip is 100% legal and has proven results!

Not bad then for just £40 via Online Golf

I had a play with a demo board at a Nevada Bob store over the weekend and was thoroughly impressed, if not a little daunted by my swing demons!

The basic concept of the swing board is practice practice practice with its adjusting arms to improve your swing. The board accomodates not only your full swing but the adjustable arms also accommodates a pitching swing too.

Basically you set up the arms as instructed and by moving the arms inwards makes the swing plane that little bit tougher until eventually it will have you swinging down the perfect line.

Just be warned this could be a slow process but definitely the end result could well be worth it!

Via Nevada Bobs for £24.99.

Then this new swing path trainer could be your answer! With the use of visual aids this new device can be used with or without a ball and can be used inside or outside, so there’s never not a good time to practice that all important swing.

The Smart Path Swing Trainer looks to focus on three distinct factors of the swing; the swing path, the low point of the swing arc and the club face angle all of which should once mastered provide longer, straighter and more consistency in the swing and ultimately in your game.

The use of coloured pegs provides a visual indicator as to the accuracy of your swing path and ultimately will dictate the correct path.

There is a ‘Smart Path’ which basically is a plastic surface placed before the ball which if the bottom of the swing arc is not correct the club will scuff the turf again providing a visual feedback.

There is a white club face indicator line which provides a visual guide for correct clubface movement in the impact zone, designed to help generate the correct club face rotation eliminating those unwanted hooks and slices!

All in all if you have the time to practice then this new piece of kit sounds like an excellent example of swing training aids. Albeit a little expensive at £120 but I guess you pay for what you get!

Forget putting pirrors this DiXX Putter is fully computerised and comes jam packed with some of the latest technology. The idea is that the built in computers will indentify everything your doing from impact position, swing path, face angle, tempo and head speed until you can truely hit that perfect putt.

The DiXX putter has a fully integrated display which is conveniently designed to give instant feedback and can be analysed over a range of putts to identify those common mistakes.

Not suprisingly tho this invention is not USGA or R&A approved so is limited to the putting greens im afraid!

The 10ft tall net provides better security for those stray balls which many other practice nets fail to cover, especially comparing it to others in this price range. The net comes flat packed which means it is easily packed away and stored during those cold winter months.

So if you can suffer the churning up of the lawn then practice nets are a great investment providing somewhere to practice every day without having to leave the house, and this Izzo net at just £49.99 seems a great example.

Could this be the game improvement tool for you? These Swing Reminders are made from a hardwood disk and act as a reminder whilst your out on the course to focus on the aspects of your game you need to improve.

The tokens double up as a ball marker and come in boxes of 25; the messages are varied to cover pretty much all aspects of the mental game on the course. Messages such as ‘forget the last shot’, ‘follow through’ ‘one shot at a time’ ‘3/4 swing’ are all designed to put you in the right mind set for your next shot.

I was lucky enough to be sent a sample of the Swing Reminders and I was very impressed. Although I’ve only used them once, I found that using them as a ball marker really helped me think about my next shot off the tee. Now I cant say that these will solve all my golfing glitches, but if nothing else they served as a reminder and an aid to develop a better thought process as I was approaching my next shot.

Overall I really like this idea, and I hope with some time I can transfer the thought provoking process they generate into an automatic routine for each shot I play.

A bargain then at only $15.99 and will ship to the UK.
