R/C Golf Incred-a-Ball

Wednesday, May 30th, 2007

R/C Golf Incred-a-BallThis is the first remote controlled golf ball I have seen, I have seen the weighted balls which roll off at all angles but this ball is directonally controlled by a remote.

The R/C incred-a-ball works best on flat smooth surfaces such as greens and fairways and will be a sure laugh for those golfers who are not taking the game too seriously! At £12.95 is not too expensive and could be good for a crack if nothing else!

Skycaddie SG1 GPS Receiver

Wednesday, May 16th, 2007

Skycaddie SG1 GPS ReceiverThis is the Sky Caddie SG1, another piece of equipment which by the use of GPS can very accurately indicate the distance from the green you are standing. The device has been designed to be lightweight and compact and has derrived from the most up to date sattelite navigational technology.

At £129.99 form 118golf.co.uk it is expensive and to be honest probably only going to be in demand form either the very lazy, very stupid or the very rich golfer! But still with this sort of technology already in use on some golf buggy’s then who knows, maybe this will become the next big thing!!

Technasonic Check Go Ball Spinner

Wednesday, May 2nd, 2007

The Check-GO, an ingenious gimmick or the answer to so many unexplained occurrences! The idea is that no golf ball is manufactured perfectly round; they are naturally, even without being hit lopsided! Believe that or not! The Check-GO therefore is the answer by realigning the ball by spinning it at an impressive 10,000 revolutions per minute evenly distributing the weight and shape of the ball itself.

This may well be a fantastic product but it may also be a fantastic gimmick! I’m not too sure but if the technology behind this is true then it sounds like a great piece of kit! However at only £24.95 I cant see the harm in giving it a go and see if it can save me those extra strokes!

Nike Divot Repair Tool and Ball Marker

Thursday, March 22nd, 2007

I stumbled accross this on Clickgolf.co.uk and thought it looked a very stylish pitch mark repairer. It also comes with a ball marker and all for a only £9.99. I have to say i do love my accessories and have already placed my order for this. Ive just got to start hitting the greens now!

Overall though I thought this was as stylish as ive seen and it would make a great little gift for the friends or family.

Ballfinder Scout

Friday, March 16th, 2007

I stumbled across this, the Ballfinder Scout; apparently a must-have golf accessory that will actually find your lost balls in the rough for you!! It is a hand-held electronic unit that finds your golf ball in the rough, even if as few as three dimples are showing, then displays a picture on screen and directs you to the ball.

The Ballfinder Scout actually displays a visual image of your ball and within a range of up to 35 feet will direct you straight to it! The Ballfinder Scout has even been endorsed by the ‘one and only’ Nick Faldo, who is quoted saying -

“I will only have my name associated with something I believe in. And I believe in the SCOUT™. At every level in golf, everybody loses golf balls. With the SCOUT™ you are going to find your ball quicker. You can play faster, have more fun and shoot better scores. It’s rare when something comes along that could improve the entire game of golf. Let SCOUT™ improve your golf experience.”

I found this on onlinegolf.co.uk at a pricey £129.99, a little expensive I thought but I can’t help to be intrigued if it will actually work!
