Not by any stretch of the imagination the cheapest pitch repairer and ball marker combination I’ve seen but none the less this JL accessory certainly ticks all the boxes for class and style.

At a pricey £20 it’s bound to put a few people off but then again at least they won’t be as common as some brands on the golf course.

JL Golf Towel

I was looking through the Trendy Golf website as I needed a small gift for a friend and I noticed this golf towel from J. Lindeberg.

Not much attention is usually paid to my towel, as after all, all I do is wipe some dirt off with it but this towel looks great and at £20 is a bit of a steal for JL accessories!

Ralph Lauren have just released their summer 2008 golf range and an instant hit has to be this embroided belt. Its always a good start to have something bright on and this bright pink belt with the green embroided RL pony looks quality. And not a bad price for a RL belt at just £18!

The Q-Link Necklace

Surely this is a gimmick? I remember seeing these on a golf show in the summer and I thought that these Q-Link necklaces couldn’t really do what they claim to…. Could they?

The idea behind this is that the energy developed and sustained by the body can be drained and interrupted by external signals form electromagnetic system (mobiles/laptops etc). The Q-Link with a system of copper coils is supposed to respond by producing its own note that the body responds to positively.

So basically the Q-Link is a tuning fork designed to tune into the body’s frequency and repel the negative energies all around allowing you to perform at a higher level in all things of life.

Now I’m sure I can be excused for thinking this was nothing more than a gimmick aimed at making a few quick bucks but today, to my surprise, I came across it at a whopping £80. Now this has me intrigued, as surely at this price there must be some truth in there somewhere and this has to be more than a gimmick, but at £80 I’m not sure if I’m going to be the one to find out!!

Callaway Fleece Winter Hat

Winter is most definitely here and the waterproofs are now out, last winter I bought a Calaway Fleece hat and I love the thing, its so warm and looks pretty cool too. I was therefore shocked to see it on online golf for just £2.99 when I paid £22 for mine last year. Definitely a bargain then and therefore well worth a mention.

One size fits all and these baby’s keep you nice and warm on those cold winter mornings!

Bored of the office desk and need something to brighten things up!? The guys at Getting Personal kindly sent me a sample of their wall hanging and desktop tent personalised calendars and I am very impressed. They look so professional and I can see them being a huge hit with Christmas fast approaching!

Each Page of the calendar has your name spelt out in a different picture each month. The images are very varied from Bunker shots, fairways to personalised golf clubs.

Umbrella Plus

Now this I thought was a great idea, often I have thought of getting a chipping net but have never got around to it but now the Umbrella Plus™ have incorporated it into an umbrella. Not only yesterday whilst waiting for my tee slot I was chipping balls into my carry bag and then today I come across this idea!

The umbrella works by inverting it and laying it down on its side, there are tags on the outside which can be secured to the ground with tees to support the three dimensional target area. The canopy itself includes two pockets which act as targets and the missed shots will gather at the bottom of the umbrella.

The technology that has gone into the umbrella also looks impressive so it looks like it wont let you down as an umbrella when you need it either, overall then it appears quite a bargain at only £19.99? Plus the umbrella can be personalised from the Umbrella Plus website direct with company and team logo’s!

X3R Remote Controlled Electric Golf Trolley

Possibly the most stylish electric golf trolley I have seen, and the X3R is fully remote controlled. The remote allows the trolley to move backwards, forwards, faster and slower and from left to right all form up to 50 meters away too.

The trolley even comes complete with an emergency brake and four different cruise control speeds. The trolley collapses and opens on one effortless action and looks amazing both folded down and fully opened.

This trolley hasn’t won trolley of the year for 3 years running for no reason! But then again it is a tad expensive at a snip under £1,000, but it will certainly put the PowerKaddys about the course to shame!
