Seve Aims For 2010 Return
Seve Ballesteros has announced the he is planning his golffing comeback as captain of Europe’s Royal Trophy team in 2010. Seve who is still recovering from a series of operations to remove a malignant brain tumor made his intentions clear when a statement from the Spanish Legend was read out at a news conference in Bangkok ahead of this year’s competition .
After undergoing four operations in Madrid where he fell ill at the airport, Ballesteros was released from a hospital on December 9 and returned home to northern Spain to begin chemotherapy treatment.
A true legend of the game and we all cannot wait for him to be back.
Europe have won the trophy in each of its first two years, 2006 and 2007 and will be hopeful to repeat that success in 2009.
