Cobra M Speed LD 2008 Driver

Friday, July 25th, 2008

cobra1.jpgPossibly the easiest driver I have hit in a very long time, this Cobra M Speed LD driver not only looks great and sounds great but its offset shaft and draw setup makes it a pleasure to play with.

The technology behind this driver makes for an interesting read, with its enhanced fast back crown, deep dimples and large face with milled dual rhombus insert combine to maximise distance and accuracy a high MOI, extra high launch, mid spin and super fast clubface enable a reliable contact and a purer sound on impace every time.

Now I’ve only used this club the once, but I found it so easy to hit especially as I have the Sumo in my bag this therefore came as a bit suprise. I think this club deserves a second try and I cant reccomend it enough.

Via Online Golf for only £180 its very good value for money too.

Puma 18 Hole Buckel Belt

Friday, July 25th, 2008

puma-belt.jpgLooking for something with a bit of class for the golf course, then this large 18 hole leather buckel belt will certainly fit the bill. So even if the golf isnt going to plan at lease you can be looking good!

Puma’s new summer line have introduced a number of quality looking pieces and this belt is another fine example of how they are really pushing the barriers and setting some new trends.

Not a bad price either at £35 for a quality piece of gear from Puma.

Harrington does the double

Monday, July 21st, 2008

As much as I was routing for Poulter you just cant help but be happy for Harrington. He played some truely fantastic golf over the four days and in the end truely deserved his victory in some trying conditions.

And lets just hope Poulter will build on this finish and finally close on a major.

Good Old British Summer

Saturday, July 19th, 2008

As expected the rain is somewhat slowing down the play at the Royal Birkdale. But this has at least thrown a suprise with Greg Norman sharing the lead with KJ Choi. With the weekend weather hopefully forecasted to be somewhat better lets hope there going to be some great golf to come.
