Callaway Fleece Winter Hat

Saturday, October 27th, 2007

callaway-fleese-hat.jpgWinter is most definitely here and the waterproofs are now out, last winter I bought a Calaway Fleece hat and I love the thing, its so warm and looks pretty cool too. I was therefore shocked to see it on online golf for just £2.99 when I paid £22 for mine last year. Definitely a bargain then and therefore well worth a mention.

One size fits all and these baby’s keep you nice and warm on those cold winter mornings!

Taylor Made V Steel II Fairway Wood

Tuesday, October 23rd, 2007

Taylor Made V Steel II Fairway WoodOnline Golf is having a massive sale and one of the best finds i’ve come across is the Taylor Made V Steel II Fairway Wood. The club has had many great reviews on the website from golfers of varied handicaps and with 75% off the rrp is a sure bargain at just £29.99.

The name derives from a V shaped sole which has been designed to give stability when addressing the ball, making aiming easier and once you are swinging reduces turf resistance giving what should result in greater consistency and more reliability.

The V Steel comes with a lightweight graphite shaft giving Taylor Made’s fairway wood a mid-torque and greater head pull, offering an optimal combination of distance, control and loft benefiting golfers of every ability.

Rose eye’s up European Order of Merit

Wednesday, October 17th, 2007

Ernie Els stormed to victory beating Argentina’s Cabrera 6+4. Ernie’s seventh match play title now bolsters him at the top of the European Order of Merit and pocketed himself a tidy £1 mil in the process at Wentworth.

Els is being trailed closely by Harrington and Rose who are second and third respectively. both have tournaments in hand over Els.

Justin Rose will be eying up a top two finish a the Portugal Masters to see him go top the European Order of Merit and the was he has been playing this year who can say he doesn’t deserve it!? Without doubt Rose been playing some fine golf this year and having already clocked up £1.5 mill in just 10 events will be confident having not finished outside the top 12.

TaylorMade R7 Quad 425 Driver

Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007

TaylorMade R7 Quad 425 DriverThe most used Driver on the European Tour in 2007 and only £129.99. The TaylorMade R7 Quad 425 Driver is definitely a big hitters club with a massive 425cc club head this is one for the big dogs! The R7 utilises Taylor Made’s Inverted Cone technology for a bigger sweetspot and 4 removable weight cartridges which allows you to slip from neutral to a draw bias as required.

Personally I havn’t had the pleasure of trying this driver but the R7 Draw driver was a pleasure to use and im sure this will be all that and more. Especially at only £130 saving £170 off the rrp, not bad in my book!
